Three Unismuh Engineering Lecturers Invited as Participants in the National SMP Revitalization ToT

**TEKNIK.UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR** — Three lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar, have the honor of participating in the Training of Trainers (ToT) program for Technical Guidance Trainers for the 2025 Middle School Revitalization Program.

The activity is organized by the Directorate of Middle Schools, Directorate General of Early Childhood Education and Basic Education, Ministry of Education, in Gading Serpong, Tangerang, from June 11-14, 2025.

The three lecturers are Dr. Ir. Sahabuddin Latif, ST., MT., IPM., Dr. Ir. Ashari Abdullah, ST., MT., IAI., and Farida Gaffar, ST., MM., IPM. They were selected based on their academic competence and experience in the field of civil and architectural engineering, which is the main scientific background for the revitalization program of educational facilities and infrastructure.

This training is part of the government's efforts to implement the national priority program in the field of education, specifically to strengthen human resource development through improving the quality of secondary education infrastructure.

In this activity, participants are not only equipped with an understanding of revitalization concepts, but also with the technical ability to prepare planning documents such as technical drawings, cost estimates, work programs, and curves.

The Unismuh lecturers are expected to become part of the national technical team that will assist schools in developing and implementing revitalization programs. Their involvement underscores Unismuh Makassar's commitment to continue participating in strategic national education programs, as well as expanding the institution's reach at the national level.
