Saddan, a student from the 2022 Architecture program, won first place in the Scientific Writing Competition for Students (LKTI) organized by the Student Executive Board of the Agricultural Development Polytechnic (Polbangtan) Gowa on October 31, 2025.
This competition, titled "Scientific Idea Challenge (SIC)," focused on the broad theme of agriculture, with two main sub-themes: "Integrated Farming as a Solution for Food Security" and "Agricultural Education in the Modern Era." The event provided a platform for students from various universities in South Sulawesi to express their creative and innovative ideas in addressing the challenges of the modern agricultural sector.
In the competition, Saddan presented an idea that integrates sustainable architectural concepts with integrated farming systems to improve land efficiency and strengthen food security for communities. The proposed idea combined ecological design approaches with the use of appropriate technology, which was highly appreciated by the judges for its practical and effective solution.

The final round, held in the Syekh Yusuf Auditorium of Polbangtan Gowa, featured the ten best finalists. Saddan presented his ideas confidently and was able to defend his arguments before the judges, ultimately being crowned as the first place winner.
