A total of 60 students from the Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Study Programs conducted an industrial visit to PT Astra International Tbk and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) in Karawang on March 20-21, 2026.

In TMMIN, students witnessed the automotive manufacturing process firsthand, starting from stamping, welding, painting, to assembly. They also received an explanation about the Toyota Production System (TPS) and lean manufacturing.

"This visit has greatly broadened our understanding of the real industrial world," said Muhammad Faisal, the group leader.
