HMA Hosts ARCHIWARE: 3D Modeling and Rendering Design Training.

TEKNIK.UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR — The Architecture Student Association (HMA) of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, successfully organized ARCHIWARE, a "3D Modeling and Rendering Design Training" event, focusing on SketchUp and Enscape software to enhance students' skills in modern architectural design.

The event was moderated by Saddan, Head of the Architecture Department (Chairman of the Architecture Division) and featured the main speaker, Muh. Alfin, also Chairman of the Organizational Development Division at HMA FT Unismuh Makassar.

The event took place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 09:00 WITA to completion, held directly on the 3rd floor of the Iqra Tower, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar.

The main objective of the event is to equip architecture students with practical skills in 3D modeling and rendering, providing hands-on experience with industry-standard design software, and preparing them for the challenges in the design and construction industry.

The training was conducted using an interactive method, starting with an introduction to the software, followed by hands-on practice in 3D object modeling, and concluded with a rendering session using Enscape. Participants also had the opportunity to discuss and ask questions directly to the speaker.

In his presentation, Muh. Alfin emphasized the importance of these skills for architecture students: "Mastering 3D design software such as SketchUp and Enscape is not only essential for academic tasks but also an important asset in the professional world. We hope that through ARCHIWARE, students can develop their creativity and professionalism in the field of architecture."
