HMA-FT Unismuh Makassar Holds GRADUATION: A Tool for Presenting Architectural Concepts.

**TEKNIK.UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR —** The Architecture Student Association of the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar (HMA-FT Unismuh Makassar), held an event titled "GRADASI" with the theme "Techniques for Presenting Architectural Concepts (Presentation Techniques)". This event was organized as a platform for architecture students to hone their ability to effectively convey design ideas and concepts.

The event focused on training in architectural presentation techniques, which not only emphasizes visual skills but also the communication skills of students in explaining architectural design concepts.

The presenter for this event was Cinta Dwi Andayu, a former member of the Architecture Department of HMA-FT Unismuh Makassar for the 2023-2024 period. Suratul Annisa, a member of the Human Resources Department, served as the moderator.

The event took place on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 13:00 WITA to completion. It was held at the Faculty of Engineering, Iqra Tower, Lt. 3, Room 3.7, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.

GRADASI was organized to meet the needs of architecture students in professionally presenting their design work. It is believed that a good architectural presentation can enhance the audience's understanding of the offered concept and also train students to face the working world.

The event was carried out through the presentation of materials, interactive discussions, and simulations of architectural presentation techniques.

In her presentation, Cinta Dwi Andayu emphasized that the success of an architect depends not only on the design idea, but also on the ability to communicate it effectively. "Architecture is not just about beautiful drawings or designs, but also about convincing others that the concept is worth realizing. Presentation techniques are the bridge between ideas and realization," explained Cinta Dwi Andayu.

Meanwhile, moderator Suratul Annisa also added that this event is an important space for students to practice early on. In her speech, "We hope that students can be more confident in presenting architectural concepts. This event is not just theory, but also practice that can be directly applied."

With the GRADASI event, HMA-FT Unismuh Makassar demonstrates its commitment to continuously improving the quality of architecture students, not only in design skills, but also in professional communication skills.
