HMA FT Unismuh Makassar to Host ARCHIWARE #2: 3D Architecture Design and Rendering Training.

TEKNIK.UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR — The Architecture Student Association (HMA) of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar once again organized ARCHIWARE #2 with the theme "3D Modeling and Rendering Design Training". This event is a continuation of the previous ARCHIWARE, aimed at equipping students with the skills to use the latest architectural design software.

The event featured Muh. Alfin, Chairman of the Organizational Development Department of HMA, as the main speaker. The event was moderated by Fitri Aulia, a member of the Architecture Department, as the moderator. Participants consisted of new architecture students who were enthusiastic about attending the training. Senior students also attended the training.

ARCHIWARE #2 was held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 09:00 WITA to completion. The training took place on the 3rd floor of the Iqra Tower, Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.

The training was held to: •Enhance students' competence in digital architecture design. •Equip students with the technical skills in 3D modeling and rendering that are relevant to the needs of the workforce. •Provide an interactive learning environment that supports the creativity and professionalism of architecture students.

The event began with an opening by the moderator, followed by a presentation by the speaker. Participants were introduced to basic and advanced techniques in using SketchUp for architectural modeling and Enscape for visual rendering.

Subsequently, participants practiced using their own laptops under the guidance of the organizers and speakers. Interactive discussions were also conducted to help students better understand the rendering techniques.

In his presentation, Muh. Alfin emphasized: "This training is expected to improve students' architectural skills so that they can face the challenges of the workforce. 3D modeling and rendering skills are an important asset for future architects."

The event ended with a joint documentation session between the speaker, organizers, and all participants.
