Faculty of Engineering: Technical Guidance Program for PKM, P2MW, and Ormawa 2026 Students.
TEKNIK.UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR — The Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, held a Technical Training (Technical Workshop) for the Student Creativity Program (PKM), the Student Entrepreneurship Guidance Program (P2MW), and the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) on Saturday, January 17, 2026. The event took place in the 3rd Floor Auditorium of the Iqra Tower, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.
This technical training is a strategic agenda of the Faculty of Engineering to support the improvement of the quality and readiness of students to face national grant programs organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. The event was attended by Dr. Ir. Ar. Hj. Irnawaty Idrus, ST., MT., IPM., IAI., Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering, lecturers from various departments, students, and student organization officials in the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.
The event began with an opening and an introduction of the activity outline by Mr. Soemitro Emin Praja, ST., M.Si., Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Engineering, followed by a speech by Dean Ir. Muhammad Syafaat S Kuba, ST., MT., Faculty of Engineering, and the Chairman of the Student Development and Alumni Institution (LPKA) of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Subsequently, participants received technical training materials according to the program field.
The material for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) was delivered by Dr. Dian Pramana Putra, S.Pd., M.Pd, the material for the Student Entrepreneurship Guidance Program (P2MW) was delivered by Dr. Hamzah, S.P., M.P, and the material for the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) was delivered by Dr. Syahban Nur, S.Pd., M.Pd.
The Chairman of LPKA Unismuh Makassar, Dr. Ir. Nenny T. Karim, S.T., M.T., IPM, in his speech, stated that this technical training is an important step in improving the competitiveness of student proposals. "Through this technical training, students are expected to be able to technically and strategically draft PKM, P2MW, and PPK Ormawa proposals, so that the opportunity to obtain national funding can increase," he said.
Similarly, Vice Dean III, Mr. Soemitro Emin Praja, ST., M.Si., emphasized the faculty's commitment to supporting student development. "The Faculty of Engineering continues to encourage students to be active, innovative, and achieve through national programs. This event is an initial preparation so that students are more prepared and directed," he said.
Through the implementation of this technical training, the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, hopes that students will be able to produce high-quality, innovative, and impactful proposals, both in the fields of research, entrepreneurship, and student organization strengthening.
