HME - Conducting Open Recruitment for the Robotics Team.

TEKNIK.UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR — The Electrical Engineering Student Association (HME) of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, held an Open Recruitment Event for the Robotics Team. The event aims to introduce the field of robotics and invite new students interested in joining the robotics team.

The event was guided by the Robotics Division of HME FT Unismuh Makassar, led by Ariel Kusma, along with secretary Alvina Damayanti, and members Muhammad Nawawi and Awal. Also present in the event was the chairman of HME FT, Firdaus Alam.

The event was held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 13:30 WITA until the end. The event took place offline on the 3rd floor of the Iqra Tower, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, with an online option available through Google Meet.

The event was held to:•Provide an understanding of the role and contribution of the Robotics Team in the world of technology and competitions.•Foster interest and enthusiasm for innovation in robotics among students.•Provide opportunities for new students to contribute to the development of robotics-based technology in the campus environment.

The socialization was carried out through a presentation of materials on the work programs of the Robotics Team, introduction to the organizational structure of the division, and interactive sessions with new students.

The head of the Robotics Division, Ariel Kusma, in his speech said: "The Robotics Team is not just a place to learn technology, but also a space for students to develop creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. We hope that with this socialization, more students will be motivated to join and contribute to creating new innovations in the field of robotics."
